Does reading self-help books, reading blogs or watching videos really make us better? This is a question I’ve been pondering on. Which is why in this episode, I decided to invite learning and development expert Ilana Guttmann.
I wanted to learn more about what she does and how she does it to become more proactive when it comes to my own learning experience.
Feeling motivated or inspired by the act of learning is not enough. The goal of an effective learning experience is to turn knowledge into new skills and behaviors.
Oftentimes we tagged ourselves as lifelong learners. But as Stephen Covey says in his book The 7 Habits of Effective People, "to learn and not to do, is really not to learn."
