I don't watch TV (and if I do) is to catch up with a show called the "Grimm" on XFINITY on Demand.
This is why it is VERY unlikely that I would recognize some of my local TV personalities if I saw them in person.
However there is one TV journalist that found how to engage someone like me who follows the news online -- that person ladies and gentlemen is Jenni Hogan.
Times are changing and as broadcast networks are beginning to adopt the idea of social TV, Jenni is a pioneer in the movement. Jenny has received an Emmy for her work and Forbes calls her the "Socially Savvy TV Journalist" with the most online followers of any local TV anchor in the nation on Twitter and Facebook combined.
Don't Do Social Media, Be Social
Now one thing about Jenni is that she is not a social media personality but instead she is a social personality that likes to meet and converse with people online but also offline as you can see in my picture above with her during GeekWire Gala last December.
I think this is important to note for everyone who really wants to get the most out of participating in social media.
Now here is one of my favorite videos of +Jenni Hogan in action:
Recently Jenni left KIRO TV to launch her own company called Jenni Hogan Media, which will be making her debut via livestream during the inaugural this weekend.
